Itinerary

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel where you will check in and refresh. The capital of India has been rebuilt multiple times over centuries and carries traces of at least seven historic cities within its boundaries. Designed in the early 20th century by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, New Delhi reflects a blend of imperial planning and Indian symbolism.
Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Raj Ghat, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. This serene memorial marks the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi and features a black marble platform inscribed with his final words. Continue to the Red Fort (closed on Mondays), an imposing 17th-century red sandstone fortress surrounded by high defensive walls and elegant palace interiors.
Opposite the fort stands Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, built from red sandstone and white marble. Later, visit Humayun’s Tomb, an early Mughal masterpiece that influenced later architecture including the Taj Mahal. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast, depart by road for Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. The drive takes approximately five hours and offers views of changing landscapes as you move from the capital region into the desert state. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.
Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and was one of India’s earliest planned cities. Its old quarters are known for their distinctive pink-colored buildings, originally painted to welcome Prince Albert during his visit in the 19th century. The city continues to reflect its royal lineage through its architecture and vibrant marketplaces.
The evening is free for leisure. You may choose to explore local markets or relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, proceed to Amber Fort, located on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. The fort once served as the capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs and is surrounded by the Aravalli hills. Enjoy a Jeep ride up to the entrance and explore its courtyards, stairways, and ornate chambers that reflect Rajput-Mughal architectural harmony.
Return to the city to visit the City Palace, which still houses the former royal family. Its museums display textiles, armor, and artifacts from Rajasthan’s regal past. Continue to Jantar Mantar, the Royal Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, featuring large-scale astronomical instruments.
Conclude the day at Hawa Mahal, known as the Palace of Winds, constructed with numerous windows allowing royal women to observe city life discreetly. After sightseeing, return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, drive to Dhulagarh, a heritage destination offering a peaceful desert setting. Upon arrival, check into Dhulagarh Fort, a restored property that reflects Rajasthan’s rural aristocratic history. The fort’s architecture and surrounding dunes create a distinctive atmosphere away from city crowds.
In the afternoon, enjoy a camel safari or Jeep safari across the desert terrain. The experience provides an opportunity to witness rural landscapes, local village life, and open horizons characteristic of Rajasthan’s semi-arid region. As the sun sets over the dunes, the changing colors of the sky create a memorable scene.
Return to the fort for dinner and relaxation. Overnight stay at Dhulagarh Fort.

After breakfast, depart for Agra by road. The journey takes several hours and passes through rural towns and agricultural landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax after the drive.
Agra remains one of India’s most historically significant cities due to its Mughal heritage. The evening is free for exploring local handicraft markets known for marble inlay work and leather goods. You may also choose to relax at your hotel in preparation for the following day’s early start.
Overnight stay in Agra.

Rise early for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The white marble structure changes color subtly as sunlight intensifies, offering a striking visual experience. Your guide will explain the architectural techniques and historical context behind its construction.
After breakfast, visit Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone complex constructed in 1565 by Emperor Akbar. The fort’s halls and palaces provide insight into Mughal court life. Continue to Itmad-ud-Daulah, a marble mausoleum often referred to as the “Baby Taj,” admired for its intricate inlay work.
Visit Mehtab Bagh for a riverside view of the Taj Mahal before driving back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel. The Golden Triangle with Desert Adventure tour concludes.
